I agree. If a business doesn't come out near the top of the first page on a google search, they don't seem like a player in their category. -Greg

That's a great analogy.

I have the feeling that the company's not that interested in new customers.

I have had the same experience. When a company does not pop up near the top (or on the first page) of a google search, It gives the impression that the company you are looking at is not a "player." It's the same as if their building was way back off the road, hidden behind other buildings. If it was a "better" business, it could afford a better location.
